Tatania Schulte - Turned Back by Australian Authorities

Monday, 8 February 2010

The Tatiana Schulte was due to arrive into Sydney late Friday, 5 February 2010, but has been turned back to Auckland.

The vessel has a beetle infestation.

AQIS has revoked the approval to berth for this vessel, and have refused it entry to Australian Territorial Waters.

She is on her way back to Auckland with an ETA Auckland of 10 Feb.
The vessel will be fumigated and re-inspected and then will head straight back out to SYD.
Approximate ETA back into Sydney is currently 17/02.
This could all change depending on MAF
