North Asia vessel delays (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea)

Apr 26

Due to several contributing factors, the weekly direct service is continually being delayed and is therefore not making its scheduled Thursday morning arrival into Auckland. Most weeks this vessel in fact arrives on the Friday or weekend, which means LCL cargo becomes available first thing the following Monday (as opposed to the preceding Friday, if the vessel arrives on time).

On this basis, it is recommended that you contemplate the possibility of a later delivery time and plan accordingly, until such time that the schedule becomes more reliable. Please note that the carriers in this consortium are currently working through the various issues in order to make the schedule more steadfast.

We will advise further details as soon as they have been finalised by the lines and will continue to monitor arrivals to ensure that all cargo is available, as early as possible on a weekly basis.
