Cap Manual 3s - ex Shanghai - Delayed & Diverted to Tauranga

Friday, 14 May 2010

The Cap Manuel v3S is delayed 3-4 days into Auckland

Hamburg Sud have advised as follows:

" Update Begins:

13 May 2010

An incident in Shanghai blocked the channel to the Shanghai terminal severely delaying the Cap Manuel
v.3. In spite of steaming at maximum speed, the Cap Manuel v.3 will arrive into Auckland 32 hours behind
schedule. ( The scheduled Auckland arrival was 14 May )

As a consequence, the earliest a working berth will be available in Auckland is 23:00hrs 18 May.
Therefore a decision has been made to revise the New Zealand coastal schedule.

- Tauranga will replace Auckland, and Auckland cargo will be delivered via rail to Metroport
- Lyttelton will be reinstated

The revised schedule is as follows:
Tauranga 15 May
Wellington 16 May
Auckland 16/17 May (via Rail from Tauranga to Auckland)
Lyttelton 17 May
Napier 19 May

Update Ends"
