Mondiale Christchurch will re-open Tuesday 7th

Sep 06

The Mondiale Christchurch building has been inspected and passed as safe for use.
The team in Christchurch will be back in the office tommorrow, doing their best to provide "service as usual"

The official "State of Emergency" covering the city has been extended to midday Wednesday, a clear indication that - although the recovery is going well - there are still many problems and hazards to be negotiated.

The Port of Lyttleton has sustained millions of dollars worth of damage, but Container Terminals at both the Port itself and the CityDepot are operational.
    - However there are delays at the CityDepot due safety concerns.

It goes without saying that whilst we are committed to providing services as normal, it is not a normal state of affairs in Christchurch, and there are many factors outside our control that may affect service delivery.
