Update 5 - Lyttleton Port Strike
ALL MUNZ STRIKE NOTICES LIFTED AT LYTTELTON PORT
LPC and the Maritime Union of New Zealand (MUNZ) have today reached an agreement in principle regarding terms of settlement and MUNZ has lifted all strike notices. Lyttelton Port is now returning to normal operations.
The agreement in principle regarding terms of settlement will require formal ratification by MUNZ members at Lyttelton Port.
The lifting of the strike notices is an extremely positive development as we move much closer to achieving settlement.
LPC wants to acknowledge your ongoing support and thank you for your patience during the industrial action. It is encouraging that our Port is now fully operational again and we can provide you with the best service we can.
