25th July

To add to the striking transporters, Mumbai today is experiencing local political protest, which has restricted movement of cargo expected to arrive at the CFS.

ICD Ahmedabad has stopped carting of cargo to avoid any unwanted situation. No new bookings containers are picked up.

There's news that Mundra port transporters are not allowing outside trailers to gate in the containers at loading port and things are getting delayed. Our containers which are handed over for railing are also getting delayed because of sudden increase in bookings for rail movement.

Interstate movement is still restricted.
Shippers continue movement of goods at their own risk.

No effect on local movements & CFS to port movement. Interstate movements are decreasing. Chennai Air Customs is upgrading their systems and from 25th Jul to 27th Jul their system will be down between 6am to 10am (IST), hence document processing will be slowed down.

There is no improvements.
So far sea shipments stuffing has been achieved without the strike affecting.

No effect on local movements & CFS to port movement. Interstate movements have been stooped from today. Suppliers from outside Tuticorin are struggling to bring in their cargo to the CFS.
