New Aviation Security Regulations - Germany

Unsecured Cargo -  Drums/ Jerricans/ IBC Container etc… Containing Liquids

Please note due to new Germany Government Air Regulations that came into effect 1st July 2019 - the special securing method ETD (Explosive Trace Detection) will be forbidden in Germany.

This effects cargos presented in Drum/Jerricans/ ICB Containers etc.,. with liquids which are receiving dark alerts during X-ray. The securing method ETD is not allowed in Germany anymore and these shipments will be excluded from air transport. This new regulation effects all unsecured cargo or secured cargo which losses its secured status to any reason & shipments must then go seafreight or Airfreighted from an alternate European Airports.

To avoid this Shippers can register as “Known Consignors” with the European Air Government authority LBA.
