At the end of October we will be changing our LCL service from Le Havre, France back to HAMBURG SUD. Current service provider SEATRADE has a schedule change that will extend their transit time to 50+ days and as a result they are no longer a service option.

A state of total chaos still exists in France. On Tuesday this week (7th June) a “flash strike” by Port workers suddenly took place which meant vehicles could not get out of or in to the Port / Terminal area.
Further national strikes are planned for Thursday this week and again Tuesday…

Following on from last week, please note there will be strikes again on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th May. We have also been advised that the truckers are currently facing shortages in fuel as well.
It is mostly Le Havre and FOS port at the moment and we are waiting for more information…
